Greetings and Happy New Year to everyone!!  We hope you all had an excellent holiday season!  2007 was definitely a great year for the King's Kiss, as we had a ton of great shows!  Sturgis On The River, as always, was the definite highlight of the year.  Playing in front of so many great friends and fans is such a great experience, and we seem to always gain new fans every year!  

A couple of new events we got involved with this year also proved to be great opportunities for showcasing the King's Kiss, such as the 4th of July festival at Middle Park in Bettendorf.  This show gave us an opportunity to broaden the demographic of the kind of people that have experienced a King's Kiss show, i.e. younger kids, and others who would not normally patronize a bar or club.  Sure, we had to tone some elements in the show down a bit, but that makes it a challenge for us, and keeps us on our toes!  On the other end of the spectrum, another new experience for us was playing the Conesville Hog Wild Rodeo motorcycle rally in May.  Talk about a freakin' party!!  If you haven't been to this event, you need to check it out!!  But beware....if vulgarity and nudity offend you, we wouldn't recommend going.  But it was a great show, the people were very cool to us, and we received an excellent response.  Again, what a party!!

There were also many other shows that were definite highlights as well, such as the rally in Cleveland, a couple of VERY worthwhile benefit shows, and we even got hired for another company holiday party this year!!  There was only one downer, and that was the show in California not happening, but hell, who knows what'll happen THIS year!  

But 2007 is over, and it's time to plan for the upcoming year.  We've got some new ideas we're working on to freshen the show up a bit, and yes, that includes some new songs as well!!  We'll be getting our gameplan started here soon as far as new shows are concerned, and we hope you're all as excited as we are to get the ball rolling in 2008!!  So hang in there.....we think the best is yet to come!!  SEE YA SOON!
